Who We Are
Sweet Adelines International is worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance.
Barbershop harmony is:
• unaccompanied vocal music
• with four-part chords
• the melody is generally sung by the lead
• the tenor harmonizes above the lead part
• the bass sings the lowest harmonizing notes
• and the baritone completes the chord
